About Me

Hello! I'm Ivan Cortes, a Full-Stack Web Developer based near Lawrenceville, GA, with completed training in Python and the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) through CareerFoundry.

I come to tech from a diverse background in communications (B.A., Universidad Los Libertadores) and television production (Associate Degree, Politecnico Santafe). My experience as a language instructor and copyeditor sharpened my attention to detail, while my time as a corporate flight attendant taught me disciplined, procedure-first execution with empathy for the end user.

I am now applying this unique mix of logical problem-solving and user-centric focus to build clean, efficient, and user-friendly web applications.

I am actively seeking a Junior Developer role where I can contribute to real features, learn from code reviews, and help ship reliable, accessible interfaces.
